- Announcement of new resident member and upcoming event. - We have welcomed Kugel, based in Seoul, as its newest member. Under the leadership of DJ NOBU, FUTURE TERROR has been pursuing the further expansion of music through dance floors as an underground collective based in Japan for many years. Among previous members, Kugel is a newly discovered talent who could further amplify the dynamics we have created so far. She excels at creating diverse genres, particularly psychedelic and cosmic sounds. Her music, which focuses on each fleeting moment as it is spontaneously created, blends deep, dark textures with whimsical oddity. While retaining the iconic elements of FUTURE TERROR from years past, she also brings a unique originality that will undoubtedly become an indispensable part of this project. This new team will debut on September 13 at WWW X in Tokyo. Regarded by his peers as one of the early proponents of outsider dance music in Southeast Asia, Yadin Moha has been steadily pushing these fringe sounds and ideas for the last fifteen-odd years, patiently converting one listener at a time. Playing at Daphnia with DJs I truly admire was such a pleasure. I drank way too much, and we were all so, so drunk... I’ve never experienced that level of “drunkenness” in Japan before! 😂 It was a whole new experience… just a really nice time hanging out, dancing, and sharing the moment with all of you.
