A STITCH IN TIME - Group Exhibition At Paul Smith, materials have always been a starting point for experimentation, reinvention and storytelling. This exhibition brings together a group of contemporary artists working with textiles and fibre, exploring the expressive possibilities of thread, fabric and colour. Through weaving, stitching, dyeing and repurposing cloth, these artists transform traditional techniques into contemporary forms, blurring the boundaries between art, craft and design. Featuring works by Alice Kettle, Alice von Maltzahn, Ben Sanderson, Carolina Mazzolari, Cecilia Charlton, Heather Chontos, Jane Bustin, Kimathi Mafafo, Laetitzia Campbell, Ptolemy Mann, Shelly Goldsmith and Tiffanie Delune, the exhibition highlights the breadth of approaches within textile practice today. From intricate embroidery and bold painterly compositions to sculptural works and reimagined fabrics, each artist brings a distinct perspective to the medium. Together, their works reflect a shared curiosity about material and process, demonstrating how textile traditions continue to evolve while offering new ways to think about identity, place and the contemporary world. Opening on Thursday 12th March at Paul Smith, Westbourne House, 122 Kensington Park Road, London W11 2EP, 6-8pm “Ja, Frau Chefin” A group exhibition including:: Rut Blees Luxemburg Ingrid Berthon-Moine Jonny Briggs Sarah Dobai Gaspar Gorodisch Melanie Issaka Liane Lang Yushi Li Liz Orton Sista Pratesi Loreal Prystaj Sophy Rickett Eva Stenram Bowei Yang Exhibition Dates: Thursday 12th March – Sunday 10th May RSVP: [email protected] “Ja, Frau Chefin,” translating as “Yes, boss-lady,” invokes gestures of performed agreement - at once deferential and ironic, with a hint of theatricality. Featuring original artworks in media including photography, ceramics, and textiles, the exhibition considers authority not as a fixed structure but as a form of permission activated and sustained through negotiation, dialogue, and proximity: compliance tempered by varying degrees of disruption. @paulsmithdesign @hi.noon.editions

Thank you to @baileyintabeats for including me in this list. My first ever paid job was as Assistant Label Manager at Metalheadz. I was obsessed with drum and bass and every Sunday night I’d dance my heart out at Sunday Sessions at the Blue Note, having spent the early part of the evening managing the guest with queues around Hoxton Square. Happy memories of time spent with @emmawinter74 @domandroland @gavster48 @meredith1706 @marksayfritz @tombesant @earlofbedlam @seanok 🎶🎵🥁#drumandbass #metalheadz #bluenote #sundaysessions #pastlife
