In the heart of tribal India, two siblings run the country’s first legal Mahua distillery. One dreams of taking their ancestral brew global. The other dreams of living as a man. A story of identity, rebellion, and hope from the margins. The film is believed to be among the first documentaries from India to centre a trans masculine story within a rural tribal community.

As 2026 begins, we’ve been reflecting on an incredibly full and varied 2025. It was a year of bold projects, ambitious collaborations, and stories that travelled far beyond our own high expectations.
We’re hugely grateful to everyone who joined us along the way.
Some of this year’s standout moments include:
- BREATHE DEEP, our survival thriller starring Ingrid Torelli, Michiel Huisman and Avani Gregg, was announced at EFM by our sales agent Cornerstone.
- A RESILIENT MAN (Steven McRae: Dancing Back to The Light), co-produced with Flair Production and Canal Plus, premiering in the UK on BBC Two.
- SILVERBACK, co-produced with Off The Fence, BBC and France Télévisions, earning nominations from RTS, BAFTA and the Emmys — and winning the Grand Teton at Jackson Wild and a Rockie Award in Canada.
- SALVABLE starring Shia LaBeouf, Toby Kebbell and James Cosmo, launched in the US with Lionsgate and in the UK with Vertical.
- THE PEACE PARTICLE, our feature documentary co-produced with Telescop, S4C, Arte, ZDF and Creative Wales was completed.
- SECRET AMAZON: INTO THE WILD reaching audiences worldwide through BBC Studios and BBC Earth.
- BARDOT premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
- THE DROWNED (formerly The Waterhouse), co-produced with Take The Shot Films, was released in both the UK and US with Vertigo and Sunrise.
- RAIN CATCHER, our London-set modern noir thriller co-produced with Yellow Pill was completed, with an official announcement coming very soon.
- BREATHE DEEP successfully wrapped after an intense seven-week shoot in Malta and Pinewood’s Underwater Stage in London.
- 88 KEYS, our latest feature wrapped in North London in the autumn - more news soon.
- ART OF THE JUMP, our feature documentary on parkour pioneer Sebastien Foucan completed post-production.
- BARDOT received a critically acclaimed wide theatrical release in France with Pathé Live.
