Back in a Bib tomorrow.
Been feeling big emotions about it. Mainly, Iām fricken PROUD of the work Iāve put in over the last 2 years, itās been a journey. Huge thanks to
@switchbackstrength ,
@ferniephysio ,
@fernieathletictherapy and
@evolution.fernie for all the support getting me back here ā¤ļø
Iāve been thinking a lot about what I want to share, as Iāve found this era of my life in competitive sport really hard to navigate mentally.
Iām grateful for the series wildcard from
@ifsafreeriders but itās definitely bittersweet to be competing for a spot on the
@freerideworldtour instead of competing for the FWT title this season.
Womenās Freeride is so sick right now, and I truly believe I have what it takes to be in the mix at the top.
I donāt think the current FWT injury policy is fair to athletes, and I think it needs to change. Iād love to see a performance based injury policy, rather than the current media based policy.
Iām not sure what my future in Freeride holds, but for now I intend to enjoy the ride š¤
