Billy Baylor. Papa Smurf. Pops. We had so many names for each other. He called me Tumblewee, Chassis, among many others. It’s cause, well, he just did that…the maestro of a great nickname. It always made me feel like we were lifers. And we were. I knew no matter how much time had gone by, we’d catch back up at some point. Go see a movie. Walk the dogs. I’ll always regret not reaching out more in the last few months. Life is strange and confusing 💔
Vanny Rose introduced us to Billy in 2012, when we filmed an episode of the Gill Webb Show. It was totally ridiculous. And funny as shit. Just like him. Go watch them on YouTube if you have a minute.
No one has ever sent me more postcards and gifts than Billy. He’d often send me just a quick hi in the mail (usually with a few random photos included) Like, he’d go to the post office, and we lived just a mile from each other 😂 I still have a lot of them that I will cherish, always. Just like our friendship.
Charm, wit, a serious gift for gab, a proud father of his two boys, a deep love for his Irish roots, and Alabama, and his dog Herbert. And MOVIES.
The list is huge, just like his heart ❤️

February is here, and I plan on rolling thru it nice and slow. This is always a pretty light month on the shows front because January always seems so hectic. It’s a good time to rest +reset, sauna + sweat, possibly join a gym again that I won’t regret. 🏋🏻♀️
