We built a whole tropical galaxy that's vibrant, limitless and full of energy, reflecting the feeling entrepreneurs get at ATOMICON - the spark of ideas, where possibilities expand and confidence grows. The eclipse sits at the heart of the identity symbolising those rare moments where things align and transformation begins, which is exactly what this event delivers every single year. T minus THREE days! 🥳 The lanyards are printed. The brochures are stacked. The tickets are sold out... almost. The designer is... definitely fine. 😬 Behind every great event is someone who hasn't slept properly in a week. The logistics, the planning, the late nights, the last minute everything. I haven't talked much about this, but it's been an absolute game changer for me. 2 months ago I moved into a gorgeous office with 2 female founders. We all run our own businesses and just wanted to escape the home office life. the office is finally becoming more colourful, mainly thanks to Amy @anorakcat - she's the organised one. Soon we'll be inviting biz buddies and clients to visit, maybe create a little networking event, gin evenings and brunches. who knows!? It's been great to chat, have lunch time walks, tea breaks and the odd moan about work and life struggles. I need to bring some more colour to my walls as Amy is putting me to shame and Gem @thunderwolf_words is ordering some fantastic prints soon. Tempted to move out of the home office? or happy in pjs? .... I do miss those. ....................................................... Nothing shows your age more than remembering when print was EVERYTHING. 😂 15 years ago I worked at a print shop - printing.com Remember them? That's where I got to learn the complex, detailed, slightly obsessive world of print. Formats, sizing, Pantone, CMYK, large format, spot UV, foiling - you name it, I learned it. Now a days its a world that some designers quietly skip over as it's easy to stick to the digital side of the tracks. I'm glad I didn't miss it, 15 years later it's becoming more popular. There's a shift happening as people crave real connection again. They want to pick something up, take something home, hold something that isn't a screen. Events are back. In person is back. And print (done properly), is one of the most powerful brand tools in the room. Over the next 3 weeks I'm working with 3 of the biggest events in the founder space which are happening within the next two months. I've been brought on board to make sure their printed items look awesome and make an impact. Keep an eye out if you're at any of these events coming up: Atomicon, The Founders Playground and The Ignited Women Event. Today I'm shipping off these gorgeous foil prints off for @paperandword 🥰 One little reminder from me if you're moving your brand to print for the first time... RGB and CMYK are very different colour systems, and what looks vibrant on your laptop can come out flat, muddy or completely different on paper. It doesn't mean your colours are wrong. It just means they need a little translation before they go to print. Always ask your designer or printer to check your CMYK values before anything goes to the printer. It'll save you an expensive surprise. 👀 Now tell me, did you ever get a mass print of letterheads? Is that still a thing? .......................................................
