I stumbled across this beautiful photo of Laetita and her sister as I was uploading her photos to our „Real Brides“ section.
I stopped for a second and took a closer look. The joy. The love. The preciousness of this fleeting moment between them. It’s so priceless and so beautiful.
I have accompanied Laetita for a year. We have created her unique bridal look together. I had the pleasure to spend time with her, her mum and her sister during our fittings. What a gift in itself to spend such beautiful moments together. A shared vision, moments of joy and emotion. Sharing parts of each others lives. Truly unforgettable.
When I look at this photo, I am so moved to see two sisters who love each other so much. It is a pinch-me moment to see someone so happy and at ease in something we have created. It is moments like these, when I think of my grandma, who has sewn clothes for my sister and myself when we were young. That pure feeling of „I am understood“ and „I trust her and know she will create something that I feel comfortable and beautiful in“.
In today’s world, everything is so fast, so pressured and quick (whether it’s wedding preparation related or life at large). To me, the bridal experience is personal. It’s guided and intimate. It’s a safe space where you know the other person has your best intentions at heart for you. Always. It’s about taking a moment to think things through. See what feels right.
Why am I sharing this? Because in the busy everyday life with running a brand, navigating our new life with the cutest tiny human, it is - as hard it is - important to take a moment, to stop and to be grateful for these truly beautiful encounters.
