Krista Parada is a mother, a multidisciplinary artist, and an art educator based out of the Inland Empire. Born and raised in Pomona, CA she is heavily influenced by her family, culture and life experiences. Krista uses art as a story of past, present and future. Much of her art is centered around the divinity, strength and resilience of femininity. Vibrant colors and soft imagery contrasted by the underlying themes of struggle, resistance and self determination as a Xicana, she creates art that is a reflection of her journey as both mother and artist.
