It’s time for 𝓕𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓑𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓯𝓲𝓽𝓼! A monthly rent party for Friends Gallery, this time @kimiarchived and @ekideay have put together a lovely line up of djs alongside their show Equinox and a Friend’s member is doing a mini pizza pop-up!
Join us on Thursday April 2nd, 6- 10 pm for a pizza pop up by Burning Dough and music by DJ Piccola (@kingjpiccola ), spinning disco and soul train vibes followed by Victoria (@victoriaartista ), spinning cumbia and salsa vinyl.
Help us keep this QTBIPOC artist volunteer-run community space going for more community events, mutual aid, radical art experimentation and more!

Bringing back the Natural Movement Workshop with Mark Medina, and this time with Archie Kini ! You guys really loved the one we hosted on Sunday with our lovely teacher Lashay Martin @_imlashayy who warmed us up and taught us some house music steps. Special thank you to Emi who blessed us with some tunes, and to Friends Gallery for letting us use the space <3

hopped off out the bed and turned my swag on at @allaboutart.htx "Anything But The Canvas" art show, at @box13artspace !!! this show was incredible and buzzing with energy, i connected with so many artists who readily saw my inner fairy 🧚♀️ super grateful for the magic that was created and for all the epic conversations i had and gifts received. i love houston i love art i love being Boricua i love being Black i love being!!!!!! houston has healed so much for me in a million ways, and seeing that people relate to me and my art with few words is such a privelege i didnt ever anticipate. I feel so alive and blessed !!
