‘Find what you love and let it kill you’ - from one of my favorite quotes by Charles Bukowski. I remember mentioning it in the first session I ever had with @ashibah and to my big surprise I saw her eyes lit up. I think like many artists she connected strongly with it. As artists we sacrifice so much for our craft but we wouldn’t have it any other way, because nothing feels as meaningful.
So we used it in a song. And today it’s out! 🤗 We didn’t know it at the time - that it would be the start of a beautiful friendship and working relationship! @niko.fine you are so smart and considerate. Later the amazing @nabihamusic joined our little writing group. She’s a legend and I can’t wait for you to hear the songs we have coming up with her! I love these three gorgeous, strong, silly, smart and dorky women!!!
