Our self titled album… “KILL MICHAEL” is out now wherever you can find it. This album means more to me than I can explain. Everyone who was apart of it truly put their heart and love into it. Myra, Leiyu, Sam and Jarl really putting in the work with me to create songs that I couldn’t even fathom possible. Songs I truly feel connected and seen with. Without them this wouldn’t be here. I love my bandmates with all my heart, my family. Laura @indreamsrecords always believing in us and providing that real push we needed. The nurturing leadership she provides really came through and making this album was so easy under her care. We are forever grateful ❤️ we love you Laura Special thank you to Joey for being down to paint our covers and put their own emotions into the work! No one else could’ve portrayed the music like this. Joey popped the fuck off… ❤️ please give them a follow and support @lamented_reverie Thank you to Alan for coming with us to record and being the friendly face we all needed! Thank you to @anacortesunknownstudio for allowing us into your space and giving us the tools needed Thank you to Sasha Stroud for mixing and mastering this album. She’s an amazing friend and is a genius, highly recommended her to anyone looking for quality mixing and mastering work! Thank you Santino @saltcreeklooks for helping us lay out the vinyl cover designs and taking profesional pictures of the paintings ❤️ And thank you to everyone who has continued to support us through this long process. We love you all. Band photo taken at tecos by @moodyphotopdx ❤️ Have a wonderful day. Free Palestine Fuck ICE Protect the ones you love, protect trans lives, protect the lives of those being oppressed by the systems of imperialism and capitalism. Protect the lives of those being silently abused. Protect the lives of those who can’t speak. Protect the lives of those tired of fighting. Protect and care for yourself. Thank you

THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE. Yo, if you (or someone you know) may be a good fit please read and response to the form linked in our bio! Usually I hate making people apply for things like this, it tends to feel impersonal to me! It’s been a while since we’ve needed to find a new member though so this helps filter through and get all the silly questions out of the way. I’m excited to see and hear everyone who’s interested ❤️ Have a wonderful day P.S. We are not interested in any cis white dudes, yall got enough projects to be in, let us have this. Thanksss #content

All with love, we sadly announce that Jarl is leaving Kill Michael. We appreciate all the work, time and creativity he’s dedicated to this project and will miss him within KM! Even though Jarl was not a bassist originally, he stepped up to the challenge and proved to be an extremely well rounded musician and contributed a unique playing and writing style that we will be forever grateful for! But Sometimes the homie just needs to do different things and that’s ok! We all got our life paths and we’re excited to see what Jarl creates in the future! This is a celebration of his work, even though we are moving forward and changing directions, we are thankful Jarl has been apart of this group 🖤 Thank you 👏🏽 We’ll be sharing info on bassist auditions soon. These will be big shoes to fill and there will be hard decisions, but we have big plans and will need to hit the ground running! If you’re up for the challenge, keep an eye out on how to sign up, thank you 🔥

Rehearsal footage. Grindr is a song about facing SA abuse from strangers. It’s my way of screaming about it and really releasing that dark violating past out of me, in the way I know how. Writing these lyrics was the beginning of a long coping and healing journey. I appreciate everyone’s support over the years! I encourage those who’ve felt violated and harmed to use their voices and not live in shame. Whenever they’re feeling ready to tell their stories <3 I’m excited to be making new music with the people I love and I’m grateful that my friends and bandmates allowed me this moment to use music as a coping mechanism. Thank you for reading, I hope to see everyone at the spring break fest this Saturday, we’ll be playing a new song ❤️ #content

KILL MICHAEL I hope everyone has a Good Friday. Checking in with everything going on, It’s been a real rough year and last couple months. We’ve been really quiet and I’m starting to feel lost here. But through healing, schooling, and community… a fresh fire is forming. A new life. Now more than ever, we must create art. I apologize we will not be able to play the PISS show this Saturday the 21st at high limit room. A couple months ago, our wonderful friend and drummer lost their brother in law to a terrible cancer, the celebration of life is that day and we wish for Sam to have the ability to spend the entire day with family ❤️ Our wonderful friends in @starly.kind will be filling our shoes though! They’re visiting home from Brazil and highly recommended catching their set. We are still playing the @theoffbeatpdx opening festival Saturday March 28th! So if you’re hoping to catch us, that will be the time! We are taking April to focus on some internal changes and continuing to write new and intentional music. We are far from death. We love and appreciate everyone’s support and patience, thank you ❤️ More shows, more music coming. #bigthingscoming #content

On December 5, 2025, People Organizing for Philippine Solidarity hosted a benefit show at the High Limit Room in SE Portland. We were able to raise funds to support grassroots organizing, as well as contribute to the Bayanihan Disaster Response campaign to support development and rehabilitation in areas of the Philippines hit by recent typhoons. More than the funds raised however, we connected with almost 200 people, many of whom were unfamiliar with the situation in the Philippines, and shared with them - through performance art, music, and political education - the struggles and strength of the Filipino people. The crowd left with a deeper understanding of the chronic crisis of Philippine society, and the revolutionary program to resolve the crisis that is found in the National Democratic Front of the Philippines’ 12-Point Program. Hear from some of the musicians, artists, and speakers on our program through this recap video, and, if you missed the show, come join us for the next one! POPS will be hosting many more exciting activities throughout 2026, so if you’d like to get involved, we want you. Through art, music, performance, education, and mobilization, we can grow our solidarity with the Filipino people’s struggle. We look forward to seeing you, whether in the concert halls, classrooms, or in the streets! DM us on IG or email us at: [email protected] to learn more. Huge thank you to @highlimitroompdx @kill__michael @burnerphone.hc @clownblocpdxx @cap.pdx as well as our friends in @labratpdx and Raw Force!
