My first art fair in Australia complete ā

Itās been a while since a did a marketā¦.
And what a rollercoaster š¢
Since moving over from the UK in 2022 to Melbourne, itās been an uphill battle. Finding work, fighting visas, dealing with some BIG arse personal issues.
And my art took a backseat, honestly šØ
But, in the last year Iāve not only found myself again, Iāve found my creative community.
The people who cheer you on on the sidelines, the ones that encourage you to take risks and those that donāt gate keep but share their learnings and expertise.
The ones that actually make navigating full time work and building a creative business possible šŖ
The creative rocks.
So on the surface it might just of just been a market, but to me it was so much more.
It was realising I can do it again.
Releasing I can put myself out there, balance my work with my love of creating and find my people ā¤ļø
It sounds silly but as I write this post I feel a bit emotional.
Emotional at the undying support of people Iāve known only three years since moving here š
You never know what having a strong community around you can do for your success.
But let me tell you somethingā¦ to all my friends and followers this is just the beginning š
