Behind the scenes stills I took while working on the newly released documentary film ‘Janis Ian: Breaking Silence’ now streaming everywhere. This is a film that started way back in 2021 & took us all over the US including Nashville & New York. New documentary work by 🙋🏼‍♂️ Survivors of the Eaton fire in Altadena were misinformed that they could bring their large animals to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for shelter. But when they arrived they discovered the stadium is only being used as a command center for law enforcement & service workers. One man recounts his story of leaving his burning home behind as he walked his horse down the mountain. Ashes fall from the sky as people try to figure out their next steps. The parking lot turned into a dry camp for victims of this historic Los Angeles natural disaster. People were hoping for food, meanwhile there was an @inandout_burger catering truck behind the gates of the @rosebowlstadium available for law enforcement only. * These folks took their horse to Griffith Park for shelter. *
