‘Undying Love’ is out NOW. I am flooded and swirling with emotions. It’s surreal and sweet and electric to share this album with the world. It has been an all consuming passion project for the last 3 years and I honestly don't have adequate words to articulate what all it means to me. I’m so grateful to all of the humans who have been involved in the process. Happy 30th friend. We miss you so much, it'll never stop aching existing without you and I'll never understand. Thanks for being such a good friend to my love, and for letting me in too. You are so rare and special to us. It always feels kind of empty or not quite right posting things like this, but I'm grasping at straws to express how much we loved our friend, how much I don't want him to be forgotten. SURPRISE our single "Time in the Dark" just dropped via Tiny Engines😋 I wrote and started recording this song in 2020 at me and Ben's little apartment, after first moving to Atlanta. I had the balcony door open while tracking the acoustic guitar, and ended up loving that take so it became the final version you hear — birds chirping and all🤍 It was so fun bringing this song to life with the band, adding layer after layer. The final touch was recording on a live piano at my brother's, replacing the piano plug in from the demo. I wrote this song on a whim, while thinking about the insufficiency and challenge of communicating adequately to the people you love. To me, it feels like a meditation.
