I am pleased to share that this work is one of three works in the graduate show nominated for the Cranbrook Museum of Art’s annual purchase award. I am deeply honored to have been nominated, it truly is the cherry on top of my MFA. Thank you to @maybeidontgetit and @cakesniffing for trusting me and believing in the work as much as I do. My time at Cranbrook has truly been a gift, I came here looking for something and I certainly found it and tripped over it again and again. It was not without a great deal of discomfort and a relentless drive to keep pushing forward that I can say after a decade of practice my work has finally entered a space that is in alignment with my goals and desires. Cheers to many more decades of searching for alignment, tripping over myself, and seeing the light.
