• Dhaka debut with the @hxtch.me crew earlier this month! 🇧🇩 • Fun fact: I lived in Dhaka for a year about 16 years ago and going back after all this time and sharing music, dance,art,food and laughter with the beautiful Bangla community in the short 2 days that I spent there were beyond fulfilling x💚 • Each and everyone involved in this project, put in all of their endless effort and dedication into this, and it showed. From the production team to the organisers, the friends that showed up and stayed and especially the people of the dance. No amount of technical glitches were gunna touch their energy and immaculate vibes x🤺 • Every set held its weight. The room felt open, intentional, generous, locked in, all the way till @izhaqo brought in the morning sun, deep in the jungle style x🍉 • Still sitting with these feelings. Finally, a huge moment for us as we present @khxdeej , coming straight from Goa to Dhaka. Her work grows from a genuine curiosity for sound - drawn to off-centre rhythms, dub-leaning ideas, and the subtle tension that lives between genres. With Indian–Pakistani roots and years of intentional, front-left raving, her ear is shaped in quiet ways, resulting in sets that feel raw, textural, and intuitively connected rather than trend-driven. Her approach has earned her invitations from respected platforms across the global bass and experimental scene, sharing lineups with names like Hodge, Mala, Breaka, Toumba, Surusinghe, Neffa-T, and Brown Excellence, among others. Measured, intuitive, and unmistakably her own, KHXDEEJ is carving out a distinct space within the deep underground sound! @nashselector_ hosted his massive open air dance party in delhi and invited @_lushlata_ and @khxdeej to do a B2B ⚡️⚡️⚡️ I felt chills playing these selections on such a good sound system and collaborating with such a good artist! As an independent artist, doing everything alone - I sometimes feel isolated and hyper independent but this set and setting made me feel otherwise! Someone said it well - BASS UNITES ALL!
