HLRTY è un DJ e produttore dinamico originario della vibrante città di Palermo, attualmente residente a Bologna. Come co-fondatore del collettivo Asterisco, HLRTY si è fatto un nome nella scena della musica elettronica grazie al suo inconfondibile sound britannico e alle sue dinamiche linee di batteria. Mescola con disinvoltura UK Garage, Breakbeat, Jersey Club e Footwork, creando un'atmosfera elettrizzante che risuona profondamente nel pubblico. Ha pubblicato diversi brani, culminati nel 2023 con l'uscita del suo primo singolo su Asterisco, "Like This". Ethik è un produttore di musica elettronica nato a Palermo. Appassionato fin da giovanissimo, si avvicina ai giradischi già a diciassette anni, iniziando a costruire una propria identità sonora tra sperimentazione e ricerca. A vent’anni pubblica la sua prima release, segnando un importante passo nel suo percorso artistico e aprendosi a un contesto internazionale.
Nel corso degli anni sviluppa uno stile personale che fonde influenze diverse, spaziando tra sonorità elettroniche sperimentali innovative e richiami underground, con un’attenzione particolare alla cura del suono e alla costruzione di atmosfere immersive. Le sue selezioni e produzioni si distinguono per energia, profondità e ritmiche originali, riuscendo a creare connessioni autentiche con il pubblico.
Oggi è cofondatore del progetto “*asterisco”, realtà che in breve tempo è riuscita a ritagliarsi uno spazio significativo nella scena club underground europea. Attraverso dj set e iniziative curate nel dettaglio, il progetto si è fatto riconoscere per la qualità artistica e la visione condivisa, contribuendo attivamente alla crescita di una nuova ondata di club culture.

It’s the story of those last moments in Palermo.
One last sunset with friends of 10+ years before the flight back North, back to our working lives.
This track is an anthem for our bond, a soundtrack for the distance that music helps us bridge every single time.
Because every summer has to start, and every summer has to end.

People always say New York makes you feel small. I disagree. Looking at these skyscrapers, you realize they were built by human hands—it’s not about being tiny, it’s about what’s possible.
The real shift happens when you’re in the middle of it all. You feel humble. You realize you’re just a speck in a sea of millions, a tiny part of a massive, beautiful multiplicity. It’s a reminder that you aren’t alone in this world.
I’m incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to be here and share my sound in this city. Go for the art and the energy, but stay for the perspective. It’s the ultimate reality check.

But honestly, my head is somewhere else entirely.
I’ve been thinking about the stories my grandmother told me about “the other world”—her parents’ life in Brooklyn, the biting, extreme cold, and that grueling 20-day journey across the ocean by ship.
It’s a reminder that this city was built by migrants, brick by brick, dream by dream. New York is a place where plurality is the heartbeat of everything, especially when it comes to music. It’s a melting pot of identities that found a way to scream, dance, and exist together.
Looking up at these skyscrapers now, I don’t just see glass and steel; I see the path they paved. I’m carrying those 20 days at sea and that Brooklyn winter with me into the booth tonight. It’s emotional, it’s heavy, and I can’t wait to play.

Sister Zo (@sister_zo ) b2b HLRTY (@_hlrty ) (US Debut): on the one side we have NYC-based Sister Zo of All Centre, 3024, Classico and Pineapple Records fame. she’s known for delivering a deeply percussive and highly psychedelic blend of broken-beat techno and house (all extremely excellent). on the other, we have fellow Pineapple Records affiliate HLRTY making his US-debut. the Bologna-based dj/producer has been making waves with his intricate and percussion heavy club heaters, especially the collaboration w Coido titled Odiso. this b2b is not to be missed.
Kellen303 (@kellen303ny ): NYC staple known for his dubbed out, highly atmospheric, lynchian club weapons on boundary pushing outposts like Keysound, SPE:C, unknown - untitled, and his very own OFFWRLD imprint.
Joey (@joeyinstereo ): local gem and Ephemeral Objects resident known for churning out heavyweight meditations from the edges dance music, all of which can be found on various wonderful Elicit Records and self releases.

HLRTY is a dynamic DJ and producer originally from the vibrant city of Palermo, currently residing in Bologna. As the co-founder of the ‘*asterisco’ collective, HLRTY has made a name for himself in the electronic music scene with his distinctive UK sound and dynamic drum lines. He effortlessly blends UK garage, breakbeat, Jersey club, and Footwork, creating an electrifying atmosphere that resonates deeply with audiences. HLRTY’s musical journey began around 2015, when he took his first steps in DJing by collaborating with the DNB Attack collective. By 2018, he had expanded into music production, refining his technique and broadening his sound by incorporating new influences into his sets.
Between 2021 and 2024, he released several tracks, culminating in the 2023 release of his first single on *asterisco, ‘Like This.’
The track received widespread acclaim and support from artists such as Coido and Hassan Abou Alam.
HLRTY followed up with an EP on Burro Studio, which was well-received by the Milanese scene, and he is now preparing his next release on Pineapple Records, a leading label in the global bass music scene. HLRTY’s live performances are an engaging and passionate experience, with his tracks gaining support from notable artists like, Piezo and Sam Binga.
He also enjoys consistent support on influential platforms
such as The Lot Radio (Brooklyn) and SWU FM (Bristol).
