@dropoutmarsh is back with his fourth release on Contre Jour with Opal, a four tracks EP fuelled with UKG/Breaks vibes. His signature atmospheric and dreamy touch is still there, but those tracks are definitely designed for clubs as he continues exploring new genres and incorporates different influences on each of the Eps he is releasing.

Built around shifting basslines, ghostly vocal textures, and rhythms rooted in UK underground culture, “What Remains” captures suspended moments between nocturnal tension, adrenaline peaks, and post-rave melancholy.

Dropout Marsh is a producer and DJ based in Montpellier - France, active since before 2010.
Multifaceted and prolific, he has released 13 EPs on labels worldwide (SATURATE!, Black Marble, Otodayo, SloWave, internetghetto…)
as well as dozens of singles and remixes that have taken him to perform in many countries.
He also launched his own independent label, Contre Jour, in 2019, creating bridges between IDM, chill, and club music.
His sets, much like his tracks, typically navigate between bass music, grime, UK garage, breaks, and drum and bass.
Romantic dinner cancelled - we have a cultural exchange program: Montpellier → riverbank Warsaw instead
On Feb 15 we welcome @dropoutmarsh to KarmaCrew.
A producer and DJ from Montpellier, moving gently between UK garage, breaks and bass — warm, flowing sets that build a space rather than fill it. founder of Contre Jour , he plays the kind of rhythms that make the room settle together.
He’ll be joined behind the decks by our good friend @tomatotoroto 🥂
