2.2 million listens & views of my podcast in 2025… WTF
Creative Creatures started as a basic convo between business partners. One day, I took my brother in to show him the makeshift studio I’d thrown together and a video that had only pulled a few hundred views. I put the headphones on him and joked about doing an episode with the OG boys. He told me he was genuinely proud that I’d trusted my instincts, given it a crack, and should keep pushing.
Randomly I put the phone camera on timer & took a photo that day - not knowing it would be one of the last we’d ever have together before he was killed on our roads by a careless driver.
After that, going through severe grief, everything stopped for me. I shut it down, packed it up and sold most of the equipment.
But his words stuck. Eventually, I decided to start again - This time with a fresh angle that felt more like me (and something to distract myself).
It goes without saying I’m stunned at what’s happened. It’s taken me around the world, conversations with people I genuinely admire, two full studio builds, and new friendships I’ll carry for life.
I think about that moment back in the studio with Caz a lot. I really wish I’d put him in the hot seat. But I’m grateful he at least saw the sparks - and would have known I was about to give it a good ol Telfer-Williams crack.
