🦅 Big News for Northern Rivers Live Music! 🎶 We’re stoked to share that Spangled Drongo Brewing is sharing the reins at The Citadel in Murwillumbah! 🍻 Rosie is still the proud owner, but we’re stepping in as caretakers to help keep the vibe alive and turbo charge it—more opening hours, more events, more experiences. We’ll be kicking things off with a soft opening on Friday Aug 22 & Saturday Aug 23 🥂 Doors open 4pm Friday and 2pm Saturday. Come down, grab a drink, hang out, and soak in the space. Once we’ve landed and got a feel for the place, we’ll roll out a stacked calendar—continuing the style of music that’s always had a home here, while mixing in other acts, sounds, and experiences to keep things fresh. Keep an eye on both Drongo and The Citadel socials for event updates and The Citadel website for event tickets Expect live music, DJs, art, community nights and plenty of surprises. Happy World Environment Day! A portion of proceeds from every Spangled Drongo beer sold is donated to @australianwildlifeconservancy , such that 1 beer sold protects 1m2 of wildlife habitat for a year.
