We did it! As of Monday evening, we officially WRAPPED principal photography on PUMA.
This film would not exist without our community. From Seed&Spark donations, to sharing our posts, to family stepping in to feed our cast and crew—we are so grateful for every person who helped bring this to life.
To our cast and crew who believed in us and traveled to Nebraska to make this film: thank you for your trust, talent, and heart.
Just days before shooting, we were met with a major creative pivot that forced us to rework the story in the final stretch of prep. We had a choice: postpone by indefinitely or trust ourselves and keep going.
Bor Pen Nyang “no worries...” We kept it going and through sleepless nights, long drives, constant problem-solving, and the dedication of everyone involved, we created a story we are deeply proud of.
New Logline: A Lao-American family left to fend for themselves in rural Nebraska, Jacob — the youngest — fights to hold onto his body, his roots, and his sense of direction. When the one thing connecting them to their grandfather is gone, what little was holding them together begins to unravel.
What’s now in the can is only the beginning. Thank you for believing in PUMA. We can’t wait to share it. With love - 30ITM*

I’m not so fond of being in front of the camera but Eileen persuaded me that we need more photos of our family especially with Ella getting older 🥺 She was right- I’m so happy we have these now.
We had a blast doing these for the team that we knew we had to offer these to everyone. I can’t recommend these enough. Forever memories that aren’t phone photos that I’ll never look at lol.
