I’m blessed to be among friends, mentors, and dope humans to create a special night for breaking in the DMV scene.
I’m thankful to DJ for my first breaking Jam alongside @_nvail who has guided me in this art. And to be alongside the @inhumanzcrew who’ve shown love for me and the culture.
Thank you friends for trusting me with the sounds of the night, and for sharing your energy. I hope to continue to provide dope sounds and vibes in our scene, and to grow alongside the breakers that are the foundation of it. For the love 🫶🏼.

Dance is such a personal thing, and throughout my years I’ve been breaking for the wrong reasons. Doing this like I had something to prove, because I wanted to be acknowledged- I became disillusioned with this approach and fell into a years of uncertainty and feeling lost.
Things started to change when I started to approach this dance as a way to follow my intuition, to not worry about external results, and to dance as a way to understand myself.
Instead of dancing like I had something to prove, my philosophy changed to doing this because I believe in myself. And with that, win or lose, I can feel fulfilled in the end.
