As the Year of the Wood Snake winds down, the Year of the Horse charges in with fire and momentum. This one leans into traditional media and hands on tools, which was a nice change of rhythm.
@kermitopia and I made this together from opposite sides of the Pacific, in completely different seasons. Still kind of wild that the internet makes that possible.
It also felt good to get back into some frame by frame animation. Looking forward to the next collaboration.

CAREER UPDATE
First off, thank you all for all of the responses, leads, messages, encouragement, conversations, and prayers after my layoff announcement. The response from everyone was quite overwhelming and valued. Thank you.
Next Friday, our current marketing/creative services team at WQAD will no longer exist. I will miss our team greatly.
I did apply and interview for the new Tegna centralized marketing team. This transition will be complete by mid-January. I did explore some other options, but I did accept an offer to be on the new team.
I will be transitioning to the new role as a Multi-Market Commercial Producer. I will still be serving local WQAD commercial clients but will also be doing some work for other markets.
Although my role is changing, I do look forward to still working at WQAD and the new challenges and opportunities in this position.

Last week on Monday, Tegna, owner of WQAD, announced that it is eliminating all positions on local marketing teams at all of its TV stations. It is building a centralized marketing team instead. There is a chance of being rehired in a new position, but it will be a much smaller team. Our current positions will be gone in mid-January.
I am exploring other options. I do have some time, but with the holidays, it doesn't seem like all that much time at all.

Joined @motionscience as a member of ProFlows+ & StyleCraft (year-long motion design course/mentorship). Recent entry into the ProFlows Community Challenge for the Grunge Distortion Workshop. First project post and I ended up being one of the winners in this challenge. More to come.
