At the lobby of Cheung Kong Center II, our Media Art Wall draws inspiration from Hong Kong’s natural landscape — the solidity of mountains and the fluidity of the sea — echoing the city’s rhythm and the forces of nature. Composed of 56 custom Powerglass panels and 55 LED strips with over 100,000 light dots, the installation forms a luminous topography of Victoria Harbour and Lion Rock’s ridgeline. Media Art Wall 在長江集團中心二期大堂，我們創作了大型媒體藝術裝置 Media Art Wall。作品概念從香港的自然景觀出發——山的堅實與海的流動，是我們對城市節奏與自然力量的一種回應。 整個結構由56塊 Powerglass 透明玻璃屏組成，每一塊都由建築師設計並由廠家獨立切割。玻璃的切割長度形成俯瞰維多利亞港的海岸線，而 LED 燈帶的角度與高低錯落則勾勒出獅子山的山勢。裝置共使用 55條 LED 燈帶與超過 100,000 顆燈泡，以光的流動呈現山與海的交會，構成一幅流動的城市風景。 我們探索本地自然地貌，採用大帽山、馬鞍山、八仙嶺、林村、太平山和獅子山的山脊線數據作為創作核心。團隊分析並轉譯這些山脊的高度與輪廓資訊，將地形數據化為燈光與玻璃的視覺語言，實現在現場的動態展現。觀者可直觀感受六座山脈獨特的起伏與線條，彷彿借由科技之眼穿透都市，回望自然本源。 背景中的日出與日落光線漸變，象徵時間的流動。光影穿梭於玻璃之間，創造出層次分明的動態效果，不僅將自然曲線引入都市節奏，也展現山與城之間流動的能量。 作品亦融入現場錄製的鳥鳴、溪流與樹林聲音，讓觀者彷彿置身自然，感受環境的脈動與呼吸。白日的光影激勵人們抬頭望向遠方；夜晚，柔和燈光與自然聲響相伴，為每一位停留的觀者帶來片刻的寧靜與安慰。 觀者在光影之間重新感受自然的流動與城市的呼吸。光與玻璃的變化象徵人與環境的連結，也展示科技與藝術如何結合，為城市空間帶來新的寧靜與美感。 網站: https://ckc-ii-media-art-wall.vercel.app/ 建築師：Draughtzman (@draught.z.man ) 媒體藝術團隊：郁下郁下有限公司 (@thingsthatmove.xyz ) 媒體藝術家：黃智銓(@kennywrongwong ) 特別聲音鳴謝：簡僖進 *創辦人、田野錄音師、聲音藝術家、音響設計師* (@ak._kan_._ ) #藝術 #城市生活 #自然聯結 #長江集團 #視覺藝術

Meet Our Guest Speaker🌟#SATASummerWorkshop RSVP now (Link in Bio) As part of the SATA Summer School 2025, we’re excited to open a series of public talks and workshops featuring local and international artists, researchers, and technologists. Guest Speaker for 3 Aug “Arttech Lab Series 1.0” ⬇️⬇️⬇️ @kennywrongwong was born in 1987 in Hong Kong. Wong’s works explore the delicate relationship between daily experiences and perceptual stimulations by hybridising analogue and digital representations. Wong’s solo and collaborative works have been exhibited in over 10 countries, including Ars Electronica Festival (Austria), WRO Media Art Biennale (Poland), Athens Video Art Festival (Greece), Phoenix Cinema and Art Centre (UK), NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery (UAE), BIAN Montreal (Canada), FILE Festival (Brazil), 404 Festival (Argentina), Seoul International NewMedia Festival (Korea), Pearl Lam Galleries (Hong Kong), Goethe-Institut (Hong Kong) and numerous international exhibitions. Wong has named one of the Golden 15, as part of the 3rd International Emerging Artist Award (UAE). He also received the Award for Young Artist 2014, Media Arts (Hong Kong) and was unanimously selected for the Bloomberg Digital Arts Initiative 2013 (Hong Kong). Wong is currently an independent artist and designer, and founded the creative studio Things That Move. He pursued his Master’s degree in Sculpture at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. In 2015, he was a part-time lecturer at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong.
