ACNE PRONE skin routine from a pro makeup artist. SAVE for later and follow for more professional, makeup tips & tricks.
1st tip-pick a foundation that's water based. This will give the most skin like finish! I personally avoid anything too matte because often times with healing acne, there can be healing patches that have dry texture. @exa.beauty is my favorite and has the best shade range.
2nd tip-Take a full coverage concealer in areas that may need a little more love. The trick here is to let the concealer warm up with the body for a more natural finish! Let it sit for a few minutes. I'm using Hynt in this video.
3rd tip-I find using a beauty blender with textured skin works best. It melts the product into the skin for you when brushes at times (depending on the skin type)
4th tip- epending on how oily the skin is set the areas that were covered. For super oily skin @wellpeople is my favorite, for more natural finishes @vapourbeauty@iliabeauty transparent powder or @hauslabs gel powder are my favs.
5th tip-when you are wanting to bronze up that skin or apply blush stick with gel like textures. This keeps the skin looking hydrated and natural. If you are super oily set with a powder blush or bronzer for longevity. I love @trestique & @tower28beauty
Once you are all done, set with your favorite setting spray. I love the @milk hydrogrip or @tower28beauty S.O.S spray for my sensi babes.

The power of color correctors! A peach color corrector is such a power move in your makeup routine. It lifts any cool/dark discoloration and just brightens the eye so naturally. Follow my steps below for an easy under eye routine
-Apply a peach color corrector in the darker areas of the eye. Usually you see discoloration on the inner & outer corners but apply where you see fit!
-Then take a medium to full coverage concealer and apply with a flat brush. This will give you more product payoff. I'm using a color that will blend into Jackie's skin tone.
DISCLAIMER: Because I used something warm underneath, I am able to use a more yellow based concealer on top. If I didn't have the peach underneath this would look very off
-Then stipple with your ring finger to blend and lift any floating product. Then go through with a fluffy brush and set lightly with powder.
*Pro-tip* because the @exa.beauty correctors are so skin like, I like to dab just a touch more of the corrector on top on the concealer to give a subtle warm layer on top. It's like the cherry on top of the cupcake!
