More than 900 guests experienced the collection, a celebration of Australian design on a global stage, and a moment to share with the clients and audience who continue to support Carla Zampatti.

What an amazing week. Last Monday I was shooting my film by the Indian Ocean. On Tuesday I woke up by the Pacific for two days of productive meetings and finished the week in LA with friends. Now I’m flying home to my lovelies. Life is good.

Since returning home I’ve been helping Australian brands showcase themselves on the global stage so I was super excited to to direct this Alf campaign in my former neighborhood.
It’s a long trip between opposite ends of the earth but New York is always worth it.
Some flavors stay in my mind long after I’ve tasted them. Spaghetti alle vongole in Positano, uni rice bowl at Tsukiji, a coal-oven pepperoni slice from John’s.
I can honestly say without biase or hyperbole that our matcha gelato collaboration is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Cuccini really know how to balance flavour. The nutty tones and uplifting florals of our matcha are balanced with delicate sweetness and a deep umami finish. And it’s been living rent-free in my mind since taste-testing.
