The last few years had some teeth.
Some years are just survival. Keeping your head down. Trying again. Learning how to carry disappointment without letting it turn you hard.
There was loss. Change. A few long nights wondering what was next.
But I’ve also been lucky enough to be loved by good people. Real people. The kind who check in, show up, drag you out of the house, hand you another beer, remind you who you are.
That stuff matters more than almost anything.
And somehow, life keeps moving forward.
Another lap around the sun. Feeling grateful for the people who stayed close when things got quiet. You know who you are.
Still chasing good stories.
Still betting on myself.
Still pulling over for sunsets.
