We made a western last summer called The Sheriffs of Savage Wells, and this is a really fun movie! This film is originally a booked written by the talented @sarah_m_eden and I'm so glad I got to finally work with her!
Coming up with @ryannrinabailey 's hair for the town dance scene it had to be something quick, period accurate, and make sense for her character Paisley. When I first established her hair I did the change in 7 minutes 😅 when you make the plans ahead of time then you can under promise and over deliver as we say.
Some other fun BTS with this amazing cast, when I got to see it on the big screen, and my hair change notes for one of the shooting days.

If you want to watch this cute western romance movie it's out now on @primevideo and @fandango directed by @mainstaypro
I had the honor of working with @deefreemanactor on @dontmovethemovie in Missouri, and I am so sad to hear about her passing away ❤️ She was a spitfire of a woman, a queen, and we had so much fun gabbing in the trailer while I did her hair! When she came to me on test day, she had just gotten her weave done but she wasn't very happy about it. So we spent quite some time trying to figure out what we could do for her character, trying on multiple wigs, and eventually I just decided to redo some parts of the weave, trim it up and thin it out. She told me everyday that she couldn't believe a little white girl from Utah could take care of her so well, and that will always stick with me. Can't wait to see her performance when the movie comes out! And I'm going to miss her!
"For them an idyllic summer afternoon drive became a nightmare. The events of that day were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre."

We knew one of the first things we had to do was visit the filming locations for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre! The cemetery from the opening scene, to the gas station where they really don't have gas but they do have the coolest horror memorabilia, and of course the infamous house! 6 hour drive total, and so many cool things to see. I had to get a photo of the makeup molds from grandpa!
The only time I've worked with @wesbrown225 on a movie that wasn't a Hallmark was when we filmed Rabisu, which you'll be able to stream on Apple TV and Amazon Prime April 3rd!! We had a lot of fun with this movie, and it was made with such special amazing people! Can't wait for you to see it!
