What started as a quarterly function to get the LA run crews together in Griffith Park in 2023 has turned into a gathering for Black, Brown,and POC runners, educators, civic leaders, and creatives to genuinely connect and collaborate.
We created this space to get folks from different run clubs to exchange ideas, collaborations, and conversations outside of races and training.
It’s evolved into a third space for folks from the community to find partners and an audience for creative projects or pursuits. It will always be a platform for Los Angeles natives and non-natives alike to genuinely build bonds and partnerships. Always organic, always about the third space, always sucka free.

BOUNCE'S bedrock, roots, and foundation has always been the BAY from the jump. To kick season 3 off in a place most of us from the crew have called home was a full circle testament to the vision of connecting crews and dots. Culture over content.
Above all, it's solidified our obligation and mission to provide a third space for our BIPOC education, fitness, and entrepreneurship homies and homegirls.
We're currently working on a pop up in Guadalajara for the World Cup, but rest assured, we got big plans for 2 LA BOUNCES this summer/fall.

Season 3 of BOUNCE kicked off in the Bay for a special post Oakland Marathon edition dubbed TOWN BOUNCE. A full circle moment for many of us with multiple ties to the YAY and LA. Big ups to @unseenrunclub | @westoaklandruncollective for co-hosting runs and spaces for the TOWN and CITY, respectively , 365 days a year 🤝

The names shared here represent over 30 people who have been disappeared. We run and walk so they are not reduced to silence or statistics. They are remembered in community.

I’ve learned a lot from the LA run community, a true example of “We are better together” I appreciate being able to connect with some really good people I’ve met early on in my long run journey to bring this to fruition.

A summer of seismic shifts in the way we engage with our streets and communities called on the BOUNCE collective to come correct for our 2 year.
BOUNCE has morphed into something more concrete in connecting and sustaining Black, Brown, and POC communities within and outside of running.
Our burger buds over at @lovehourlosangeles have graciously offered to host our 2 year anniversary. LH has been a community hub over the years through thick and thin. This was a no brainer.
Thank you to our community members @inclusivaction for referring eloteros and paleteros to compliment the festivities.
Inclusive Action has been championing SB 635, which would make it harder for authorities to share the immigration status of street vendors in California.
We will have a limited pop-up lemonade stand by the little homie @thefutureisrocky as well.
Finally, our friend @kickinthereal will be in the house recording a special episode of the REALEST podcast with some special guests 👀.
And yes, the big 🥊 fight will be on with sound.
