From the heart of Watts.
Held in Nickerson Gardens—the largest public housing community in Los Angeles—this 5K was more than a run. Runways and Watts Community Core brought the community together in motion—across generations and paces.
Special thanks to JD Sports for lacing everyone up and making it possible, and big shout out to Watts Community Core, Jerome Spicer Foundation, and Hawkins for showing up and supporting the community.

Runways returned to Avalon with a 5K for runners, families, and kids. For many of them, their first.
With support from JD Sports, we were able to provide shoes and open the door for more people to participate.
Built alongside Avalon Carver, Watts Community Core, and FTS, with people who do the work everyday.
