I canāt believe itās been SEVEN years since I designed and created Lady Lazarus for @imatsofficial at the @bdelliumtools booth. Painted with @ebaperformancemakeup & @iwata_airbrush . This character remains one of my favorite Iāve ever designed. This was such a labor of love, i hope I can top it one day.

A full scale replica of the #Beetlejuice tombstone. This bad boy is 6 feet tall using a combination of carved xps foam, sculpted @smoothon freeform air and coated in epsilon pro! I donāt know how I managed to build it in under 3 weeks, it was a great push of my skill set. A big thanks to @allis_in_chainz for assisting with the paint job. Introducing my brand new logo by @allis_in_chainz . I have decided to retire Red Till Dead Design in favor of representing my art and my brand through my name alone. For a long time I was hesitant to stand by my name. I was worried people would constantly mispronounce it but Iām literally the only Keaghlan Ashley and you can either learn it or you donāt. If people can learn to say Daenerys Targaryen they can learn mine. Red Till Dead Design was fun while it lasted but it no longer feels true to the artist Iāve grown to be. Iāve been slowly phasing it out over the last few weeks and today the change is complete on all socials and contact info.

Someone added me to a website dedicated to boobs without my consent (which is rude donāt do that) but the least they couldāve done was post a better photo of them! Like this one! Iāve always liked this series because it captures my fluidity in a way I really love. As an artist I love to experiment with my masculine and feminine side. I refuse to exist in any world with rules about how I should present myself. Honestly my boobs are the least interesting part about me.
Feeling nostalgic and itching to do some more in front of the camera work soon. I think Iāve taken a break from being perceived long enough. Hereās a shot Iāve never shared from @tracihines music video āNobodyā. I helped with some set dec as well as appeared in the video in an original clown design. We always have a good time clowning around. Weāre long overdue for another collab!

I do find myself nostalgic of the version of myself I was in 2016, and the world I inhabited. I was was nonstop creating, bringing original characters to life, finding ways to play dress up on the daily, my hair never stopped changing. I was on tv, opportunities kept knocking but life moved on and so did I. A part of me needed to remember her, to find her again, but I also am solid in the person I have become. Even if that person now has dealt with a lot of hurt, and fears for the world we now inhabit. Iām stronger in my convictions than ever, stronger in my identity. My skills have grown and for every time I feel Iām going backwards I make moves forward without realizing it. 2016 Keaghlan, I love you and Iām grateful for our journey. Thank you for taking care of us, but Iāve got it from here, and Iāll try to make 2026 full of whimsy and political rage.
I got to be a plus one to the press preview of the @gdtreal@netflix@frankensteingdt exhibit. This exhibit was truly breathtaking. The attention to detail was immaculate, the rare books and speaking to a rare book specialist was an experience unto itself. I couldāve talked about the TWO first editions of Frankenstein they had on view all day. I cried repeatedly. I aspire to be a part of something so meticulously crafted one day. The biggest thank you to @tayamillerr for the invite! Hopefully theyāll extend the dates so more people get to see it.
