Given my first time and first race of the year was heart of Texas, I would like to take the 2026 season and dedicate it to John sanders and Andrew Johnson who’s beautiful souls left us within the last year 🕊️❤️ they both impacted so many around the Okc boathouse district and beyond that! Andrew and John will forever be honored by the loving rowing community (: I will carry john’s legacy through his costal rowing shell I bought☺️

Results always mirror the effort put in and I can promise one thing I have not been putting in, is my feet In costal boats which was humbly smiled at I’m the start of this race. We gotta start somewhere and if not now, WHEN?! Costal single under my belt and cannot not wait to take the lessons learned to practice and make better!
I am blown away by all of the athletes, coaches, boat handlers, support, us rowing staff, everyone was so amazing this weekend! Every athlete looked fabulous and I’m so excited for the future and everything to come!

After three days of traveling, I’m home reminiscing already. Man I love this sport. But the people, irreplaceable. The vibes, enthusiasm and drive from all of the athletes is utterly inspiring. The @nextlevelrowing team continuously motivates me to be the best that I can. Miss everyone so much already and can’t wait for next year! Good luck to everyone still competing and thank you for letting me be acquainted.
