These are our Immutable Laws. You can also find them as standalone 5 Minutes to Learn episodes. These are ingrained in VAS LLC and yes, KCBC. Not sure there are other podcasts that tell you their core values, but here are ours. And we are also different in that we’ve branded our WHY one way, and our HOW + WHAT in another. Both entities hold the same immutable laws. We are dedicated to learning by doing. We admit that we don’t know it all, and there is always something to learn. Learn more. Know less. We lead divergently. Every invention you love was, at one time, considered “crazy.” If you do what you always done, you get what you’ve always gotten. We seek others in the Kansas City region that lead in this manner as well. We value strong relationships in our business and network. We encourage leaders to focus on building the strength of their tribe. Talent is not enough. Relationships are what make organizations great. Continuous improvement is the key to growing, and getting better at what we do. If we don’t improve, we die. That’s how important this is to our company, the podcast, and the clients we work with. This post will be pinned, so everyone can see it. If you want to talk more about how VAS LLC might help coach you as a leader in your space, send us a direct message to learn more or visit our website linked from our bio. If you want to keep learning from our content, keep listening to KCBC. We have only just begun. Subscribe. Rate. Review. Thank you! #immutablelaws #corevalues #leadership

Episode 87 is out! Are you a @bush / @gavinrossdale fan? I sure as heck am. Learned how to play my first riff, from “Glycerine”, almost 32 years ago. That would lead me into loving guitar, learning how to play more songs and eventually write my own music, record albums, and tour myself. This is a good little 15 minute episode about what I learned from seeing Bush on my birthday recently here at @azuraamp with @stephanie.risinger . One of the best live performances I’ve seen, and one of the strongest reminders about leadership to ground me. *clip filmed on Michael’s iPhone* Available on KCBC’s Apple, Spotify, and YouTube channels NOW. #bushofficial #gavinrossdale #livemusic #leadership #dynamicleadership

@gabriel_g.92 created @tobringaboutpodcast as a platform for real conversations to be had. He lives that mission statement with every episode. @unclebaer_ and I had the opportunity to hang with him last night (for the second time!) and as per usual, we talked about whatever we brought to the table…and whatever came up during the talk. It feels good, no, it feels AWESOME to be alumni and “regulars” on this treasure of a podcast. Encouraging everyone who has not checked out TBAP yet, to tap in and search for a previous talk that might interest you. Also, thanks to @phatdomwom for making it all run behind the scenes. The man of mystery! No laptop, no mic, no problem! 😂💯⚒️ *EPISODE DROPPING IN MAY, ONLY ON TO BRING ABOUT PODCAST!* #contentxreator #realconversation #brotherhood #jiujitsu #fatherhood

Love Is a Choice, Not Just a Feeling People forget they chose the person they fell in love with. When the emotions feel lukewarm, the commitment is to keep choosing each other and keep removing what doesn’t work for the relationship. #marriageadvice #relationshiptips #loveisachoice

“There is always an opportunity to lead…” Brian Green is a servant leader and never wastes a perfectly good lesson or opportunity to learn. Be on the look out for opportunities to serve and lead, and you will find them. Sometimes they find you, as we discussed in episode 84. Brian Green of Total Hifi Experience is a DAY ONE KCBC supporter and I am honored to have him on the show as the first California-based guest to come on the podcast. It was awesome talking to him about the audio industry, the power of listening to music on sophisticated systems, and involving families in hobbies together. Means the world to me to hear him affirm what we started with KCBC and how he has noticed the community we’ve participating in with the launch and consistent action within this podcast. If you want to engage with your local community at a higher level, all you need is a phone and good conversations. Check out Ep 84 on our YouTube, Apple, and Spotify channels. “Ordinary People; extraordinary conversations.” #influence #podcast #contentcreator #proaudio #hifi

“Just let me know if you need anything” doesn’t help a new mom. In this Short, perinatal therapist Stephanie Reisinger explains why it’s so hard for overwhelmed parents to even know what they need let alone ask for it and gives exact phrases you can use instead. Swap vague offers for specific actions: “I’m bringing you a meal this week, which day works?”, “I’m at the store, what can I grab you?”, or “I’ll hold the baby while you shower or nap.” She also reminds us that moms in the U.S. get far less community support than in many other cultures, even though humans are wired to thrive in community. If you really want to help a new mom, start here. 🔗 Full episode on Ozone Lair: postpartum, infertility, loss, and faith.[Attachment]
