Punt Sniep by KCAP
"Punt Sniep transforms a central Diemen peninsula into a vibrant, car-free community of 202 very specific homes. The development is between two waterways, the Muidertrekvaart and Weespertrekvaart, giving it distinctive character along the route to Amsterdam. A strategically placed sequence of buildings defines four distinct public spaces: a waterfront square, harbor, green courtyard, and entrance zone. These open spaces connect programmatically and visually to the buildings, encouraging residents to meet and interact. High-density living harmonizes with generous greenery and waterfront areas. Carefully designed interfaces between private and public realms support community building, one of the key ambitions in this new neighborhood within cycling distance of the city."

Sibeliuspark by KCAP
“The Sibeliuspark in Oss has been transformed from a neglected, underutilized green space into a welcoming, lively, and diverse 25-hectare urban park. Designed by KCAP as landscape architect, the project features a nature-inclusive, climate-adaptive environment that integrates over 400 new trees, diverse programming for all ages, and integrated housing developments. The Urban Ox Park, featuring a skatepark, pumptrack, and calisthenics park, now serves as the beating heart of the renewed Sibeliuspark.”

The landscape architecture of 2Amsterdam creates an inviting place for people to gather at the heart of Zuidas, Amsterdam’s busiest business district.
Between two repurposed office towers, KCAP designed a walled Forest Garden that elevates the typical corporate garden into something richer. The concept embraces a striking duality: a serene natural retreat surrounded by high-rise towers.
The garden brings together diverse shade-tolerant plant species that thrive in the sheltered conditions between the towers. Undulating mounds with layered planting create shifting degrees of enclosure. Pockets of seating offer space for informal meetings and quiet moments.
The central plaza opens up like a clearing in the woods, inviting people to enjoy the outdoors whenever the sun is out. An elevated path system meanders through the landscape, inviting visitors to slow down and wander. Beneath it all, a climate-adaptive rainwater system captures and retains water, irrigating the garden during dry periods.
Where the Forest Garden offers calm, the entrance square brings energy. Terraces, seating and small trees breaking through the paving make it a natural gathering point for the district.
At KCAP we design buildings and their surroundings as one, creating places where architecture and nature strengthen each other. Architecture & Landscape architecture are both by KCAP.

KCAP Advances KM1: Cernier Station District Enters Next Development Phase.
➡️ Moving forward with @metron.ch , Biol Conseils and GVH / Buchs et Plumey SA in close collaboration with the Canton of Neuchâtel and the Municipality of Val-de-Ruz.
KM1 is more than a station: it’s a new gateway to the Val-de-Ruz and a catalyst for development in a region without rail access.
The next step focuses on refining the masterplan and multimodal hub, with full development running through 2027.
By connecting high-speed rail, public transport, cycling and pedestrian networks, KM1 strengthens intermodality and supports Switzerland’s net-zero ambitions.
🏙️ An open station hall and vibrant public square create a new centrality alongside the historic village.
🌿 Landscape and public space are key: green corridors, water systems and slow mobility routes connect the station to its surroundings.
📍 Phased to 2041, KM1 lays the foundation for a connected, sustainable district.

The final plans for Sur Structure have been submitted.
Anchored in Oman’s Vision 2040, the plan supports the country’s shift from oil-dependence to a knowledge-based economy, with sustainable, design-driven growth at its core. It positions Sur as a vibrant coastal city rooted in its maritime heritage and oriented towards a blue economy, a new destination and a gateway to the wider region.
The plan prepares the city to double its population and jobs by 2045, envisioning a compact city around its lagoon with strategic densification to reduce outward expansion.
The Sur Structure Plan is built around six goals:
1️⃣ Dynamic Sur: a diversified economic hub with future-ready jobs
2️⃣ Authentic Sur: living heritage, adaptive reuse and local craftsmanship
3️⃣ Green Sur: biodiverse landscapes and sustainable water management
4️⃣ Welcoming Sur: coastal destination rooted in heritage and natural beauty
5️⃣ Active Sur: compact urban living with accessible spaces and networks
6️⃣ Resilient Sur: climate adaptation, flood protection and future-proof infrastructure
KCAP is proud to lead this process in collaboration with @ibnbahla_oman , @haskoning_official , Pegasys Strategy and Development, @base_design , Box of Art, and Sultan Qaboos University, commissioned by @housingoman .
Sur Structure Plan showcases KCAP’s strength in shaping complex urban futures where spatial strategy, cultural heritage and environmental resilience come together in one integrated vision.

Torfmatt Quartier in Wangen-Brüttisellen (Zurich), designed by KCAP for our client @mobimoimmo , received strong approval in the municipal vote on 18 March 2026, with 95% of voters in support.
The project transforms the former Erni industrial site into a mixed-use neighborhood that connects the village center with Dietlikon station. The plan introduces around 300 homes, workplaces, and generous public spaces, structured through a network of green courtyards, tree-lined streets, and active ground floors.
At the heart of the proposal is the idea of a permeable and connected urban fabric. New pedestrian routes and public spaces open the site to its surroundings, while approximately 8,000 m² of landscaped open space strengthens biodiversity and improves the local microclimate.
Torfmatt Quartier demonstrates how brownfield redevelopment contributes to urban densification while enhancing spatial quality and everyday life in the municipality. Following KCAP’s win in the 2023 design competition, this positive vote now opens the way for the start of the project’s development. We look forward to the next steps in realizing this new neighbourhood for Wangen-Brüttisellen.
Developed in collaboration with:
@studiovulkanlandscape , @raumanzug.eu , @metron.ch , TEAMverkehr, Ingenieurbüro Andreas Suter.
We’ll be at @mipim_world (9-13 March) to share our expertise on these topics:
- Affordable housing and inclusive, socially sustainable neighbourhoods,
- Transit-oriented design, promoting walkable 15-minute cities,
- Brownfield and inner-city transformation through participative processes,
- Decarbonisation, circular reuse, and giving buildings a second life,
- Reimagining productive and innovative workplaces,
- Strengthening biodiversity, climate resilience, and healthy communities.
This is the work we care about, delivered through a design-led approach that integrates urban planning, architecture, and landscape.
Our partners Irma van Oort, Anouk Kuitenbrouwer, Jeroen Dirckx, and Xavier Blaringhem will be at the Home of Holland (Riviera 7 – Stand C42) and the Association Horizon Leman (R7.G35).
If you’re working on any of these challenges, let’s exchange ideas and explore what’s possible together.

Sibeliuspark in Oss has been transformed into a vibrant 25-hectare urban park that puts people and nature first.
The park is compact, connected, and full of life. A distinctive 3.5-meter park ribbon loops through the space, linking the community while over 400 new trees create diverse habitats for birds, bats, bees, and butterflies.
Inspired by the local rural landscape, the park’s framework creates distinct “park chambers” that guide you through the space. Climate-adaptive wadis manage stormwater, boost biodiversity, and cool the park during summer heatwaves.
At its heart, Urban Ox Park brings everyone together with a skatepark, pumptrack, and calisthenics facilities. Add community gardens, a 4-meter hill for sledding and sunbathing, and flexible event spaces. This is where neighbors gather daily.
#Sibeliuspark shows what’s possible when thoughtful design creates space for both people and nature to thrive.
