DECA:16 FIGURES - is a labor of love. I’ve been inspired by @decamusic music for the past 2 decades and it’s been a moving force in any work that I do. Perfection a short film IS OUT NOW & brought to you by the amazing female crew 💖 Making this film was very important for the little girl in me that has been struggling with body dysmorphia since the age of 9. It’s something i’ve been working through for the past 25 years of my life and still work on everyday. Body dysmorphia comes in different forms and it was important for us to show how unstable and uncontrollable the mind can be. I’m beyond words grateful to @valerietronolone @miariver_ and @kerry.rose.studio for picking me to be the director for this film and allowing me to add my touch to this film. *no context to this picture just @danya___zelik sent this to me the other week and put a smile on my face seeing @sergeonik recently someone told me that NO is a complete sentence and that only unhealed and toxic people receive it as a FU. I find it growing up sometime is learning to be comfortable with setting your boundaries and accepting whatever outcome awaits you on the other side. another thought: people who don’t tolerate your absence aren’t meant to be in your life. which i think is very liberating
