This spec Cheerwine commercial is really special to me because it’s the last thing I shot in Winston-Salem before graduating. I’m also so happy that I got to shoot something at Salem College before leaving because it was my favorite place to walk around and explore during my time at UNCSA. A little over a week ago I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Following graduation, I attended my schools LA Trip where my classmates and I got to see some amazing things in the world of cinematography. We also met many kind people, and I look forward to finding my new community when I move to LA in the Fall.
I’m sad to say goodbye to UNCSA and I don’t think It’s fully set in that I won’t be going back in August. During these 4 years I’ve been taught by amazing professors, worked with incredibly talented classmates, and made lifelong friends. I will miss UNCSA but I am excited for the new beginnings ahead!
