📣 We’re thrilled to announce that Kingsbridge Repair Cafe is back! ♻️ Come and join us with your broken stuff on Sunday the 26th of January between 10am and 1pm at the Kingsbridge Care Hub We have a slightly reduced team this month but can offer repairs for: ⚡️Electrical items 👖 Clothing and textile repairs 🛠 General small household items 🚲Bike maintenance on a limited basis We will update this post if we are able to offer any other repairs on the day. 🙏As ever, a big thank you to our amazing team of volunteers that offer their skills and support! 🙋🏻Would you like to join us? We’re sorry to announce that we won’t be running a repair cafe this month - apologies to anyone that was hoping to bring along items for fixing. There is a brilliant repair cafe over in Dartington if you are able to travel - check out @the_repair_cafe for the details. They run on the first Saturday of the month ♻️ We will update with plans for December and the new year soon 😊

A huge thank you to @richthecameraguy for this great video capturing the joy of the Mindful Art in the Garden session that took place during our Nature Festival 🦋 The session was organised by Tracey Wood and the brilliant people at Kingsbridge Art Club. We hope everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed creating art in the community garden which was buzzing with life and colour! 🌻🐝🌸 We would love to organise more opportunities like these to connect people to nature through creativity in the outdoors. 🌟The community samba band we created with @drum_devon for the Kingsbridge Nature Festival are playing tomorrow (Wednesday) at the lantern parade as part of Kingsbridge Fair Week 🌟 The lantern parade is always a magical evening and a highlight of the week - join in from the top of Fore Street from 9pm 🌟 Taking this opportunity to share some brilliant photos and memories of our nature festival parade - it was an amazing, inspiring day and a lot of fun! It's been a whirlwind week since our amazing Nature Festival last weekend and we have been busy gathering lots of photos, footage and feedback to share with you 🐝 But first we would love to just say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that came and supported our festival - all our collaborators, sponsors, creatives, stallholders, facilitators, speakers, drummers and of course everyone that came along and took part across the 3 days - you all made it such an incredible weekend and we know the impact will continue to ripple outwards 🌼 One comment that we have heard a lot in the last week is that people wish we could take more time to celebrate the natural world right under our feet more often, and we all can! We loved having @southdevoncountrysident and @southdevonnl with us at our nature festival at the weekend. This Sunday they are joining forces again for the Big Day Out on the Farm at East Soar and it looks like an amazing day full of nature and creativity - celebrating the start of the Life on the Edge Project 🐝

Sadly we won’t be running another monthly Repair Cafe session now until September - our volunteers are busy busy over the summer months ☀️ There will be NO session on Sunday 30th June - please share this with anyone you know that may have wanted to attend.
