I’m so happy you found this little corner of the internet! 🥳 I’m a family & newborn photographer based in Southeast Wisconsin, and I specialize in mini sessions that are not only fun and stress-free for families - but also so hype that they keep my business busy all year round! But here’s the wild part… I didn’t always do this. In fact, just a few years ago, I was working as an ER nurse. 🚑 I spent my days (and nights) running on adrenaline, working long shifts, and feeling totally drained. And while I loved helping people, I knew deep down… this wasn’t where I was meant to be anymore. So in 2021, I made the scariest (but BEST) decision ever - I walked away from nursing and went ALL IN on photography. And let me tell you… I’ve never looked back. 🙌 Not even once. The reason I was able to go full-time? Mini sessions! Not just your basic mini sessions - but a unique system that allows me to run a thriving, sustainable photography business *without burnout* while creating beautiful, meaningful experiences for the families I work with. There are shoots that are beautiful… and then there are shoots that mean something. This weekend’s Motherhood Minis were one of those. From a brand new baby just a couple weeks old to a 97-year-old great grandma (!!), we had generations in front of the camera and honestly… you could feel it. The love, the history, the chaos, the tenderness. All of it. Watching moms step into the frame, surrounded by their babies (and their babies’ babies) is something I don’t take lightly. These are the photos that matter years from now. A huge thank you to @mouvhouse for hosting us in such a beautiful space, and to @remingtonsflowers for the stunning florals that brought everything to life. And biggest thank you to my right hand gal, @thelindsaytaylor for getting alllll the smiles from the kids! And to every single family who showed up, trusted me, and let me capture your story… thank you. Truly. 🤍

Okay but can we talk about this behind-the-scenes moment for a second… because dad understood the assignment 💁🏼‍♀️ Out here fluffing the dress, fixing every detail, fully committed… husband of the year energy, honestly. This sweet family is getting ready to welcome baby #3, and this spring maternity photoshoot could not have been more perfect. The cherry blossoms showed up, the kids brought the chaos (the fun kind), and mama is absolutely glowing in every frame. These are the kinds of sessions I love most… a little wild, a lot of love, and documenting this in-between season before everything changes again in the best way.
