We started capturing precious family memories for Chris and Tori back in 2022! From their engagement photos, to their wedding day, to their maternity session and now their very first photos as a family of three! I’ll always be so grateful for couples who continue to trust us with documenting their family as they continue to grow and as we continue to grow and evolve as photographers. It’s a privilege to use my camera as a tool to capture the legacy for your family.

Logan and Lucas are turning one in just a few days, so we cozied up in this adorable studio to capture their cutie lil personalities! And also, to celebrate mom+dad totally crushing the journey of parenting multiples! They deserve a little celebration too!

I’ve been seeing *a lot* of hot takes lately about AI… especially photographers coming for other photographers for using it. Almost like a weird flex? Or people just overall fearful of it in general.
Here’s my take: I’ve been in this business a long time (LLC, taxes, the whole thing for 6+ years, and I'm here for the long haul). AI isn’t going anywhere. It’s only getting better. More refined. And if you refuse to learn how to use it, you’re honestly just going to fall behind.
Another hot take? I can *immediately* tell when someone lets ChatGPT write their caption 😅 even when the em dashes are gone. There’s just a very obvious “AI flow” to it. So...maybe don’t do that.
My favorite way to use AI is to help speed up my post session work flow! New software now allows photographers to remove double chins (I've shared this on my story before), take out wrinkles in clothes, eliminate the glare on someone's glasses, and the list goes on! These are just a few examples of things that used to take me hours to fix - and now it's just the click of a button! I'm not talking about scary AI fakes...and totally changing your clients' appearance without consent - I'm just telling you that AI can be used in responsible ways to help make your life easier and give your clients the best product possible!

👶🏻 Where do sessions happen?
Newborn sessions can take place in your home, outdoors, or at my cozy new space, Fable Studio in historic downtown Watertown.
👨👩👧👦 Who can be included?
Parents, siblings, and yes... even your pets. These sessions are meant to tell the story of your whole family welcoming your new little one.
📅 When should I book?
The best time to reserve your spot is while you’re still pregnant. I only take a limited number of due dates each month so we have flexibility once your baby arrives.
🧸 Do you provide props?
Not really! My photography style is lifestyle and baby-led. Think cozy, natural, and real moments instead of stiff posing or elaborate setups.
🌿 What makes this different from traditional newborn photos?
Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about documenting the love and connection between you and your baby. Whether we’re in your home or at the studio, the focus is on authentic memories, not forced poses.

I can’t believe I’m finally saying this… but I am officially opening a studio share. 🥹
Creating a space like this has been a dream of mine for years. But trying to find a studio to rent outside of Milwaukee or Madison? Nearly impossible. And truthfully, nothing ever felt just right.
So I decided to build my own. A warm, cozy, light-filled space that reflects my style—soft textures, neutral tones, and all the relaxed, homey vibes I love in a session space.
It’s called @_fablestudio , and while I’ve been holding off on sharing the news because I’ve been wildly indecisive on how to decorate it (and it’s definitely not done yet), I’ve already had my first shoot here… so I guess it’s time to make it Instagram official!
I’m so excited to use this space for my own indoor photography sessions and to open it up as a rental for other photographers or creators who’ve been dreaming of a space like this too.
