Beginning of last year I randomly responded to a story from Instagram mutual
@panoramicnothings asked about queer/trans photo project then met up with a few strangers and we tagged along some photographer friends. And
@fennbruns suggested we should submit to an art call in the Bay for a group show. Without knowing too much of each other’s work, we quickly put a proposal together. Although it didn’t move forward, we somehow start doing photo walk together, I somehow was able to ask them for help to install my solo exhibition, and we somehow all went on a trip together. We got a chance to exhibit some work together
@timelessthrills , continue making work and supporting each others, even through 100 degrees heat and muddy rainy woods at night, and going to exhibit some work at
@prismartspace in June 13th in case you haven’t heard me telling everyone about it.
I won’t stop talking about how truly special we are. How queerness and passion for photography somehow tied us together and making us not just a collective of radical artists in the Sacramento but also some friends we can cook and sleep on the floor and laughing my ass off. I will never be where I am now without everyone in this group. Thank you
