Some work! I've been horrendously bad with posting work for a looong time now. But here's a fun one I got to direct and animate last year for Excision's Nexus Tour with @aura.obj and @immanent_vj A lot of my work nowadays is focused on visuals for DJs and live events, which is an interesting area to work in compared to where I started in feature films. I like the less-plan-just-do-it approach that is inherent with these tighter deadlines, it allows me (and team) to find creative ways to simplify complex ideas and follow intuition to get the music's energy out in flashy pixels. I've not physically seen any of my work in-venue yet, but it's super rewarding to see the crowd reactions from all the videos on socials. The viral button was slapped pretty hard on this one 🚨 There's a bunch more of these, which I'll get around to posting at some point. Slide 1 is a playblast from Maya, Slide 2 is IRL. Last slide has a bit of a BTS run-down, it's a little cropped, because instagram. 😁

I started as a Junior Animator on Seth Rogen's Sausage Party and since progressed to a Lead Animator role on The Willoughbys and more recently, Addams Family 2. Over the last year I've partnered with @colinozawa & @sean_mac . We've been slowly building a creative studio with our combined talents, having most recently worked on projects for Nike, Apple Music and Meta. As for my personal work, I've been doing side projects in my free-time to keep my creative output flowing, as well as learning basic rigging and modeling so I can animate my own characters.
