I just got back from my first bus tour with @lovejoyonline It was a 6 week US/Canada tour-we played 27 shows from Boston to Vancouver to San Diego to Florida. I’ve done tours before but not like this! It was a bit strange at first to jump into sleeping on a bus with some people I just met but I came to enjoy it very quickly. Waking up and not knowing where you are at first is a trip. The band and crew were all so pro! We had a great time cracking jokes, talking about America/UK, debating, exploring cities, watching TV shows, kicking around a ball. The toughest part was missing my girl @tree_saherrera at home but we made it through! The band has such a passionate fan base-every show fans were lining up early and I’ve never seen an audience give so much energy every night. Honestly it’s gonna be hard to go back to doing bar/restaurant gigs where the band is often ignored. Seeing all these different cities for a day was a nice snapshot of the country-I think I gained 10 lbs from food tourism. I’ll try to be better next time🤷🏻‍♂️. I got to live out my rock dreams-the band killed it and there was a spontaneity to the shows that was really fun to be a part of every night. Day in the life of a keyboardist and piano tech in NYC. My days are super different-I thought this one would be fun to vlog!

I’m very excited to announce that my second studio album “In The Garden” will be out on @pinchrecordsofficial on October 10th! I wrote most of the music for this album over the past year, and my quartet and I had the pleasure of spending a full week at @pinchrecording last October where we tracked everything live to tape. The album was mixed by @escottlindner , mastered by @blackler_mastering and features @k_magic_keys on piano, Rhodes, Wurlitzer and synthesizers, @marty_kenney_ on electric bass and @phildrums on drums. I wrote all the tunes and am featured on alto and soprano saxophones and flute. I’m so proud of this record and can’t wait to share it with the world! I’m playing a show in a little less than two weeks at @double.nyc Tues May 13th with my band!! 8:30-11:30ish. I’m going to play some old classics and a lot of unreleased music from my upcoming album. 2nd set will also be a jam. Hope to see some friends there! No cover.
