Looking to set up a show, class, workshop or other event at Scribble? Use the forms on our website! We’re not able to keep up with DMs, so that’s the only way to get in touch about booking.
Please keep in mind that, due to the high volume of submissions, we are only able to host a small fraction of events that are pitched to us. We prioritize events that uplift marginalized voices and offer something constructive to the community. We also love events that are unique and feel particularly suited to our space.
Also, we’re always looking for people to put together Scribble fundraiser shows! If you or someone you know can pack the house and help raise funds for our sliding scale therapy program, please reach out through the form!
Thank you so much to everyone who does the hard work of organizing events to serve the community!
Love,
Scribble
@bexcastillo stopped by @scribble.community in Highland Park to learn about the sliding-scale counseling services they offer in addition to their community events like concerts, acting classes, book clubs and more.
So excited to have @katiealicegreer at Scribble on July 10th to celebrate the release of their new album:
perfect woman sound machine, vol. 1 !!! 👏👏
The album is a “sharp, psychedelic set that blends trip-hop textures with dark, spacious synths. The album moves between vulnerability and edge, with tracks like ‘Expo 70’ questioning progress and modern life- all wrapped in a bold, character-driven sonic world” according to KCRW, which named “Expo ‘70” their top tune of the day today 🏆

WE OPEN with Body Temple Dance: a somatic movement modality that supports nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. Developed by Adriana Rizzolo, Body Temple Dance is an intuitive movement practice with roots in Tantra, Italian Shamanism, trauma healing, ritual theater, and somatic education.
WE’LL CONTINUE with some journaling, sharing, and performance exercises done in small groups to help deepen and connect with your sense of your own authentic expression and creativity. We will develop confidence in being seen, speaking your truth, and working collaboratively with others.
All are invited, including (but not limited to):
-Women, queer, nonbinary and trans folks
-People of the global majority
-Performers, directors, artists and blocked artists, leaders, public speakers, people with public speaking fears, educators, and caretakers
-People who are exhausted, delighted, heartbroken, curious, weird, empathetic, sensitive, confused, confident, and/or a combination of all of the above
-Folks looking for a space to hold their grief, rage, anxiety, or fear in challenging times
-All levels of artistic experience welcome from NONE to VERY
