Some feedback stays with you.
We recently received these kind words from a volunteer at Hyphen, and they truly mean a lot to our team:
“I am a volunteer at Hyphen, and I had the privilege of being invited to a community consultation with the architects during the development of the new building. I am writing today because I continue to think that the outcome is just superb. One of the points raised in the consultation was that the new Library needed to maintain the warmth and community connection that the tired old building carried so very well. The new building did this from the very beginning, managing an amazing feat: a fabulous, striking design which is also warm and very inviting. I still work there, and it is a great delight to take a new visitor on a quick tour of the large facility. The architecture of our building, inside and out, is glorious and I feel delighted by it every single time I am there. You gave Wodonga a wonderful creative heart.”
Projects like Hyphen are shaped by the people who use them. To know that the building continues to feel welcoming, connected, and inspiring is exactly why we do what we do.

As the year draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a big year at JWP Architects.
2025 saw us relocate our office, marking an exciting new chapter for the practice. Thank you to our staff, clients, consultants and construction teams for your collaboration, trust and dedication throughout the year.
Our office is now closed and will reopen on Monday 5th January. We wish everyone a safe and happy festive season, and we look forward to what’s ahead in 2026.

At JWP, we design spaces that cater to evolving learning needs, while promoting flexibility, community engagement, and sustainability.
We are proud to have lead the upgrade and modernisation of Myrtleford P-12 College, an essential project in the growth of education in the Alpine Shire. By blending contemporary design with the school's rich history, we have created an environment where students and teachers alike can thrive.
The project includes the addition of a sports stadium, a new P-2 building, a modern administration building as well as significant upgrades to the arts and music spaces.
This redevelopment will significantly enhance the educational experience for students and provide a safe, innovative, and inspiring space for both learning and community interaction. We're excited to play a role in shaping the future of education in this rapidly growing region.
