turned 29 🎈yesterday and i had a lot to celebrate. on the 13th, the @latimes ran a feature on @sudanarchives and some of our work together made the story (proof that this kid who always dreamed of living in LA is REALLY here). 3 days later i pulled up on 29, an age my mom lost her mom at, and one i’ve also lost friends before reaching. to be here now, with my mom watching me thrive, feels really special. the trick was less about getting stronger and more about channeling the strength i already had… i carry theirs with me ❤️

fashion has always been my voice whether anyone clapped (or laughed) when i used it. it’s expression. it’s protest.
the world doesn’t always just open for people like us but the BPM is the power. @sudanarchives taught me that.

that’s exactly how the “Gadget Girl” aesthetic came to life through vision, intention, resourcefulness, authenticity, and a whole lotta love.
