We’d like to take a moment to thank you all for a wonderful first month. We’ve been plotting and planning since summertime to get these doors open, and honestly, we couldn’t have wished for a better moment. When the room fills with people, candlelight, and that slight condensation hits the windows, the place really starts to breathe – cozy, warm, alive. We feel grateful to have found our tiny castle in the Jordaan. And we can’t say this enough: thank you to our legendary team for pushing so incredibly hard alongside us. Wishing everyone happy holidays! We’ve been traveling through France and Switzerland during harvest season, the most demanding and time-pressed moment of the year for winemakers. It’s when we like to drop by, lend a hand, and share a moment in the vineyard or cellar ✂️🍃🪲 For the first leg of the trip, @justingrooten stayed in Jura, France, and our family @crnptrk joined along the way. Even though the region has seen plenty of rain, the days we arrived felt summery warm, bright, and festive. Days of picking grapes with friends, red cheeks in the sun, good wine flowing, and laughter between the vines with #domainedelatournelle #morganeturlier @baptiste_rbz @d.guadagnolo_viticulteur To top it off, @crnptrk fried his famous schnitzels at @bistrotdelatournelle . Thank you all, as always, for the generous welcome. It felt like coming home ♥️

We’ve been working on something, and we’re almost ready to share it with you... Kamer, a bar & kitchen in the Jordaan, opening this November. After years of friendship and collaboration, Ciaran Patrick and Justin Grooten are building a place that’s here to stay. Small, warm, and grounded – less noise, more substance.
