After our closing night (a long one…) we gathered early the next morning for a surprise team outing to @efteling . Fueled by the tastiest coffee from our friends at @zizoucoffee , we drove south, rode rollercoasters, and wandered the (sp)rookjesbosjes to keep the nicotine levels up. Late at night we closed things off with a BBQ at @tillatec provided by our @sebonsa.ams family and @omoka_amsterdam 🃏🪅 Not everyone from the team could make it, but the love is there for each and every one of you. Thank you for the hard work, the energy, the laughs, and for carrying Bodega together. Our trip to the Efteling felt more like a group of friends than colleagues, and that says it all. It’s been a little quiet here since we closed our Bodega pop-up. We took a step back, went on holiday for some well-deserved rest, and left the online world untouched for a moment. But we can’t disappear without a proper goodbye. Our closing week with @crnptrk was one to remember! Filled with warm faces, laughter, and the good energy that carried Bodega all these months. We want to thank you all for joining us at our little nook in Amsterdam-West and for making the past seven months so special❣️ Until we meet again, with pleasure xxx

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting @designerinthekitchen from Istanbul behind the pots and pans at Bodega. What a lovely team and such wholehearted, warm energy. It was their very first pop-up in Amsterdam, so definitely give them and their @atelierbarb a follow to see what’s next 🫂🥨 And now… WE’RE HEADING INTO OUR FINAL WEEK! Yes, we’re screaming a little, because we’re both excited and a little sad that there’s only so little time left. But we’re closing this chapter in the best way possible: chef @crnptrk is returning to the kitchen for one last trick 🥄 A handful of final tables are now online, don’t wait too long. Seven months, countless plates, endless glasses, and now the final week of our Bodega pop-up is almost here. What a ride it’s been... Make sure to pull up a chair before the tables disappear 🪑💨 There was only ever one way to close this chapter. Our dear friend and chef @crnptrk is returning to the kitchen. Last week(end) flew by in the best way possible. Our family from @kidamsterdam joined us in the kitchen, and in just three days we served hundreds of you. The looooong waiting list made one thing clear – you’re more than ready for them to return. Think of last week as a teaser, because they’ll be back sooner than you might expect… where? we’ll let them share that with you 🤭 This week we welcome @designerinthekitchen from @atelierbarb into the kitchen. We’re excited to welcome Kafeterya Barb from Istanbul to our kitchen for the fourth takeover 🇹🇷🪲 @designerinthekitchen @atelierbarb Kafeterya Barb is the culinary arm of Atelier Barb, where founders Safiye Ozkan and Haydar Bayindir blend their worlds of art, design, and food. Earlier this year, they moved to Amsterdam, and they’re starting this new chapter with their very first pop-up at Bodega 💫 For four nights, Safiye and Haydar will fill the table with colourful dishes from Turkish and Aegean cuisine, reimagined in their own playful way; think homemade flatbreads, slow-cooked summer vegetables in olive oil, vibrant mezzes, and a beautiful twist on baklava. Two down, three to go. We’ve had an absolute blast hosting Omoka and Mizeria in our kitchen over the past two weeks, working with inspiring people, bringing in fresh energy, and watching different communities come together over food and drinks. In many ways, it’s exactly what a collaborative pop-up should be 🪐 @omoka_amsterdam @mizeria.amsterdam And the fun isn’t over yet. This week, our family from @kidamsterdam takes the reins, with all tables booked up in just 1.5 hours. After that, @designerinthekitchen / @atelierbarb from Istanbul will bring their take on Turkish–Aegean cooking, and we’ll close this chapter as it began, with @crnptrk back in our kitchen! The man who’s been part of this ride for five months and even longer in de Pijp, some call it a love story! ♥️🪅🃏 Come for a last glass, a plate, a memory. On August 14, 15 and 16 our extended family from @kidamsterdam will take over the kitchen at Bodega. Make sure to join us during the second week of our final month! What started as Kip ’n Drip, a lockdown-era pop-up slinging crispy chicken burgers, grew into one of the most beloved kitchens in town. After closing the doors to their De Pijp spot earlier this year, something new is quietly taking shape… but for now, we get to welcome KID back for a few fleeting nights of good food 🦖💫 For three nights only, they’ll take over our kitchen with familiar flavours, good energy, and that signature warmth we’ve always loved 🙂‍↕️ Come hungry, come curious. Surprise kitchen take-over at Bodega this week! Our friend Aki is bringing his pop-up ‘Omoka’ to Hoofdweg // usually found at Tillatec, now crossing Rembrandtpark to spend a few nights with us 💕 @omoka_amsterdam From Wednesday to Friday, you’ll find a special menu with comforting food from Angola, Congo, and Senegal // bold, rich flavours that deserve their place in the spotlight, but are rarely found in the city. Come try dishes like Mafé and Thieboudienne, all made with love and intention. On Saturday, we’re exceptionally closed to prep for our final, packed month of pop-ups – so this is your one shot to enjoy Omoka at Bodega. Tables via the link in bio, runnnnn! 🏃‍♂️💨

Throughout August, a different chef, team, or collective will take turns in Bodega’s kitchen – helping us close this chapter the way we like it: together, with good food and good people 🥒🥟🫜 First up is @mizeria.amsterdam . A familiar face in Amsterdam’s pop-up scene, they’re known for serving up Polish comfort food that feels like home (even if it’s not your own) You’ll find dishes such as Pierogi (dumplings), Kielbasa (which they lovingly call the best sausage in the world), Chłodnik (think Polish gazpacho), and Smalec, served with bread and pickles Expect a week of comfort cooking, Fugazi and Bad Brains over the speakers, and lots of good company. Starting tomorrow, we enter the final week of @slavpreme behind the stove. After that, we slowly begin closing off our cherished Bodega chapter at Hoofdweg 141 🃏🪅❣️ There are only a few weeks left before the pop-up wraps — and we’re going out in style. Throughout August, a different chef, team, or collective will take over the kitchen each week to help us end on a high note. Chef Ciaran Patrick has left the building! Thank you for joining us — we went out with a bang: tasty lobsters and Big C’s signature buckwheat ice cream to close the chapter 🦞 Starting this Thursday, our sous-chef Slava takes the wheel for July. Evenings on the terrace, natural wine in your glass, and dishes that are playful, approachable, and full of flavor. Think: buttery oysters in escargot style, strawberry and sour cream sundae, and everything in between. 🦪🫜🍦 Pull up a chair before, at the end of August, the tables disappear.
