So excited to play the same stage with @thebroodhfx tomorrow night with @wearenorc at @guspubandgrill
The Brood was one of the first shows I saw when I moved to Halifax and they left a profound feeling on me. You can write fun, weird, interesting, and funny music. The box that artists put themselves in doesnât need to exist at all. This bleeds through to all the music Iâm involved in with norc and @electricspoonful as well. Freedom for me lives in music and Iâll never stop chasing that feeling.
You can be exactly who you want to be and donât need to water yourself down ever.
Letâs celebrate that feeling together tomorrow âĽď¸
Thank you @bluejeanlens for these incredible photosđ¸
2025 is coming to a close and we have officially hit 10 years as a band. Itâs impossible not to think âWhere the fuck did the time go?â or better yet âHow are we still alive?â. Perhaps the real answer to all lifeâs mysteries lie within the beers we shared along the way..or something like that.
One thing is for sure this wild ride weâve been on as a band of best buds could never be summed up in a single social media post but whether youâve been there since the beginning or just tagging along with us now - thank you. â¤ď¸
DIY âtil we die.
New album coming 2026.
Cheers to 10 more years. đť
this year may not have been fun for a lot of people - but we here at norc HQ are feeling a lot of gratitude for the milestones we reached this year as band. THANK YOU to everyone for coming with us on this crazy ride that was 2025!! And thank you everyone we had to pleasure to work with, and share the stage with this year. We love yas - here's to an even better 2026!
Rest in peace to my beautiful kitty baby bro Gohann.
You came to us as a baby in your momâs mouth looking for love as strays in the world and we were able to give it to you. A great cat and friend. Thank you for being such a sweet part of our lives for so long!
On Saturday Night, as part of the @the_monoxides bill, I finally had the opportunity to catch the local genre-bending act @wearenorc
The band blew my mind from @keys.and.christiana 's work on vocals and her dual keyboards, @justceejthings 's thick effortless bass lines to Alan Godin's gutteral metal growls and intricate guitar work. The band is part prog rock, part jam band and entirely mind blowing.
Looking forward to my next Norc experience đ¤
