It was truly a joy sharing space with these incredible women at The One Global Film & Business Summit in Italy.
So much brilliance. So much honesty. So much heart.
One of the most beautiful reminders from this experience was witnessing the power of women from different cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences coming together to exchange ideas, stories, and vision.
The future of storytelling, creativity, and global impact will not be built in isolation. It will be built through collaboration, compassion, curiosity, and our willingness to stretch our arms across borders and truly see one another.
Grateful for every conversation, every laugh, and every shared moment of inspiration.
To these extraordinary women ā thank you for your brilliance, your openness, and your light. āØ

SUPERFINE:
Tailoring Black Style
The Met Gala 2025.
In times when racism sought to diminish Black identity, clothing became a weapon of dignity, defiance, and pride.
This year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," salutes the Institute's newest exhibition and draws inspiration from the groundbreaking book by author and scholar Monica L. Miller, who also served as Guest Curator. The exhibition examines Black dandyism ā a
tradition born from the intersection of African and European style and explores how clothing has been used as both a form of self-ex-pression and a means of resistance.
Miller's research positions dandyism not merely as fashion, but as a cultural statement - one that has endured for centuries. In times when racism sought to diminish Black identity, clothing became a weapon of dignity, defiance, and pride. From the 18th century to today, the "Superfine" garments tell stories of meticulous tailoring, creativity, and the refusal to be defined by oppressive norms.
