I remember the day we met, right in the place where God met you in the deepest depths of your grief. Sitting on my office floor with you, holding space for the loss of Leilani… those days we spent just talking, crying, and walking through it together will always stay with me.
To think back to that moment, and then look at you today, your life is a true testament to God’s love, His grace, His mercy, and His favor.
Today and every day, we celebrate you. You are such a gift to everyone who has the blessing of experiencing you.

Today our daughter turns 15, our rainbow baby 🌈
After losing our firstborn, Miracle, I didn’t realize how long I had been holding my breath until the moment I looked into Nalaia’s eyes and held her in my arms for the first time. It was in that moment, that I could finally exhale. She has been a breath of fresh air ever since, a reminder that joy can live alongside grief, and that blessings still bloom after loss. What a gift it has been to watch her grow, and what a blessing it is to be her mother. “By the Community, For the Community.” Shoutout to @rosecityjam and @trapkitchenpdx for another successful event! The Community Feeding, Turkey Giveaway and Night Sports was so beautiful, the people were beautiful, the energy was beautiful! Shoutout to @elateyouth for hosting a beautiful girls room (my girls still talking about it). That thankful wall was the perfect touch, a reminder to pause and sit in gratitude. Shoutout to @oneofgodsmessengers for keeping the energy going with the basketball games for the teens. Shoutout to every single vendor, supporter, partner and volunteers that made this happen! The community needed that & felt the love & intention.
